Twain Harte Town Hall

Hosted by Michael Masuda

TWAIN HARTE, CA – Michael Masuda, Democratic candidate for California’s 5th Congressional District and a seasoned electrical engineer, will host a community town hall on Saturday, February 28th, at the Twain Harte Community Center.

As part of a growing movement of common sense candidates running for federal office in 2026, Masuda aims to move past partisan gridlock by listening to the people and applying it to public policy. The event will focus on issues critical to the Sierra Nevada foothills, including wildfire prepardness, healthcare, and the economic impact of tourism in our rural communities.

“Our district deserves more than talking points; it deserves technical solutions,” said Michael Masuda. “Whether we are discussing forest management or healthcare costs, the data should drive the decision. I’m looking forward to hearing from the people of Twain Harte about the challenges they face and sharing how we can use an evidence-based approach to solve them.”
