The Joker Tom McClintock is the chair of the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement. He also serves on the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government. King Donald just endorsed him.
The Trump administration has committed monstrous acts as I.C.E. has inflicted abuse and terror on communities. We believe it is critical to directly confront both McClintock and Trump during the No Kings III protests.

On March 28, organizations across California’s 5th Congressional District will gather under a simple message: No Kings, No Jokers. We come together because we must stop the violation of citizens’ rights. We aim to stop the immoral treatment of immigrants. These policies are championed by Representative Tom McClintock. He leads the Subcommittee on Immigration and does the bidding of President Donald Trump.
Recent events have raised urgent questions about federal immigration enforcement. Across the country, at least nine U.S. Citizens have been killed by federal agents. Most well-known are Renee Good and Alex Pretti of Minnesota whose murders sparked widespread protests across the nation. These tragedies remind us that constitutional rights do not depend on immigration status. The Constitution applies to every citizen and immigrant alike.
At the same time, the expansion of for-profit detention facilities threatens accountability. They encourage policies that treat humans as revenue streams. Representative McClintock chairs the House Subcommittee on Immigration. He bears direct responsibility for the direction and abuse of government policy. It is no surprise that while he is responsible, he hides from the public.
Congressman McClintock has not held a public town hall since 2017, nor does he live in the
district he represents.
Our district deserves leadership rooted in accountability, compassion, and the rule of law, not political theater. We reject the idea of strongman politics. Additionally, we oppose the two-faced approach that creates harmful policies on immigration, affordability, water, and healthcare. These policies are championed by Tom McClintock and Donald Trump.
On March 28, we stand together to say: No kings. No jokers. Just democracy, dignity, and
constitutional rights for all.
